5. Summary of results

This test case allowed the validation of the modal calculation of a \(\mathrm{3D}\) structure presenting a crack introduced by the X- FEM method. The comparison of the results considered here, the natural frequencies of the first 8 modes, shows a good agreement between the « classical » calculation where the crack is meshed and the calculation with X- FEM.
