4. B modeling#
4.1. Characteristics of modeling#
T3 elements are used to mesh the surface of the cylinder.
The interface model between solid and fluid has the following characteristics:
Modeling: “3D”, Phenomenon: “Thermal”
Modeling: “DKT”, Phenomenon: “Mechanics”
Modeling: “FLUI_STRU”, Phenomenon: “Mechanics”
4.2. Tested sizes and results#
The results are tested with the three types of interfaces with a field at the nodes. Compared to Modeling A, the result differs for the test with the DKT interface because the Gauss points used for the integral calculation are on the edges of the mesh.
