Summary
This multidirectional problem consists in performing a spectral seismic analysis of a structure composed of massless beam elements and discrete masses at the nodes. It includes modeling.
Seismic excitation is provided in the form of three oscillator response spectra accelerating to the supports along the axes \(X\), \(Y\) and \(Z\).
Through this problem, we test the MODE_STATIQUE command and the options for quadratic combination of the modes and for quadratic combination and Newmark combination of the directions of the excitations of the COMB_SISM_MODAL command are tested.
The results obtained are in good agreement with the reference results obtained with the code HERCULE.
