1.1. System description#

We consider the system represented by the diagram below:

1.2. Masses and stiffness#

The three springs have the same stiffness: \(k=1000N/m\).

Both masses are equal to \(m=10\mathrm{kg}\).

1.3. Boundary conditions and loading#

Both ends are recessed.

The load is an axial tensile force applied to mass \(\mathrm{m1}\), sinusoidal as a function of time, with pulsation \(\omega\).
