8. F modeling#

8.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The characteristics of modeling F are identical to those of modeling A except for substructure 2 where the second discrete element has been replaced by the relationship \(F=-\mathit{kx}\). This modeling makes it possible to test the use of option RELA_EFFO_DEPL in a dynamic substructuring calculation.

The transient response of the system is calculated using “Craig-Bampton” interfaces (blocked interfaces). The method of integration by central differences is applied. The calculation of the direct response (without substructuring) is not included in this modeling.

8.2. Tested sizes and results#
