r7.01.20 Behaviour of steel subject to corrosion#

Summary:

This documentation presents the behavior model of steel subjected to corrosion that makes it possible to describe the mechanical behavior of corroded reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures. This model is developed in 1D and 3D, a damaging elasto-plastic with isotropic work hardening and is based on the Lemaître model. This behavior is used for calculations to predict the load-bearing capacity of reinforced concrete structures affected by corrosion in the case of one-dimensional loading.

It is implemented under the name CORR_ACIER in 3D and in 1D (for BARRE elements and multifibre beams). It also works with option DEBORST for plane constraints (shell elements); the equations are integrated numerically by an implicit scheme by M. Ortiz and J.C.Simo [bia1] _ with a plastic multiplier obtained by linearizing the threshold function with respect to the internal variables and by requiring compliance with the convergence criterion.
