3. Modeling A#

3.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The characteristics used and the mesh are those deduced from the data in paragraph [1].

We assign a 3D model to the elements of the structure

3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

The mesh provided to Code_Aster contains HEXA8 meshes to model the structure and QUAD4 meshes to model interfaces with detailed discretization in paragraph [1.1]. It is important to have oriented the surface elements of the interfaces according to the conventions described in document [U2.06.08].

3.3. Tested sizes and results#

The values tested are the modules in \(m\) of the responses to points \(A\) (equatorial) and \(C\) (polar) for the external radius of 7 meters.
