Modeling A ============== Characteristics of modeling ----------------------------------- The characteristics used and the mesh are those deduced from the data in paragraph [:ref:`1 <1>`]. We assign a 3D model to the elements of the structure Characteristics of the mesh ---------------------------- The mesh provided to Code\ _\ *Aster* contains HEXA8 meshes to model the structure and QUAD4 meshes to model interfaces with detailed discretization in paragraph [:ref:`1.1 <1.1>`]. It is important to have oriented the surface elements of the interfaces according to the conventions described in document [:ref:`U2.06.08 `].
