v8.01.111 FDLV111 - Absorption of a pressure wave in a fluid column#
Summary:
First order fluid paraxial elements intended to apply absorbent conditions at the border of a finite element mesh are tested to simulate infinity in direct transient calculations.
They are used to model an infinite fluid column, in 3D or 2D, in which a pressure wave is created using a piston. We are interested in the non-reflection of the wave at the « infinite » end of the column.
The two direct transient operators of*Code_Aster* are tested successively, namely DYNA_VIBRA and DYNA_NON_LINE.
