.. _V8.01.111: **v8.01.111** FDLV111 - Absorption of a pressure wave in a fluid column ================================================================================== **Summary:** First order fluid paraxial elements intended to apply absorbent conditions at the border of a finite element mesh are tested to simulate infinity in direct transient calculations. They are used to model an infinite fluid column, in 3D or 2D, in which a pressure wave is created using a piston. We are interested in the non-reflection of the wave at the "infinite" end of the column. The two direct transient operators of*Code_Aster* are tested successively, namely DYNA_VIBRA and DYNA_NON_LINE. .. toctree:: :hidden: self .. toctree:: :maxdepth: 2 :numbered: Probl_me_de_r_f_rence Solution_de_r_f_rence Mod_lisation_A___cas_3D Mod_lisation_B___cas_2D Synth_se_des_r_sultats
