3. Modeling A#
3.1. Characteristics of modeling A#
The results presented come from 3D modeling_ THH2MS. They are compared to the solution obtained using linear thermal methods.
To complete, the calculations are also carried out in 3D_ HH2MS, in 3D_ THH2S and in 3D_ HH2S.
Since movements and temperatures are blocked, the results should be the same in all cases. The aim here is to check that the trade term has been taken into account.
The mesh is composed of 640 HEXA20 elements.
3.2. Tested values and results#
Capillary pressure and temperature profiles are presented for three moments and it is verified that the results are identical.

Tests are carried out on three values:
Points \((x,y)\) |
Time ( \(s\) ) |
PRE1 |
\((\mathrm{0,2};0)\) |
60 sec |
13744 |
1800 s |
31758 |

3600 s |
41105 |
To save time, models other than 3D_ THH2MS will only be tested for 60 s.
