v7.22.137 FORMA41 - Practical work from the « Civil Engineering » training: taking into account withdrawals in the study of a 3-point flexure beam#
Summary:
This test \(\mathrm{3D}\) illustrates on a simple case the questions relating to the modeling of shrinkages in concrete; it highlights the effect of drying and temperature on the distribution of stresses.
It is a reinforced concrete beam subjected to 3-point bending to which thermal and drying stress is added.
The objective of the test is to show the possibilities of modeling withdrawals by chaining thermal THER_NON_LINE and mechanical MECA_STATIQUE calculations.
Modeling A corresponds to the calculation of flexure in elasticity. It is used as a comparison for the other models.
Modeling B corresponds to the calculation taking into account desiccation shrinkage, endogenous shrinkage and thermal expansion.
