Summary:

This quasistatic axisymmetric \(\mathrm{2D}\) test makes it possible to illustrate questions relating to thermo-elastoplastic models on a simple case:

  • for thermal calculation, it highlights the effects of exceeding the maximum and the instability of the explicit diagram and shows the contribution of the diagonalization of the thermal mass matrix,

  • For mechanical calculation, it highlights the constraints due to the incompatibility of thermal deformations, even if the cylinder is free, then the incremental aspects of the calculation with STAT_NON_LINE. The influence of the reference temperature and of the temperature for defining the thermal expansion coefficient is also shown.
