v6.05.501 SSNS501 - Large movements of a simply supported cylindrical panel#

Summary:

This test represents a calculation of the stability of a simply supported cylindrical panel subjected to an effort concentrated at its center. The behavior of the panel changes completely and clearly shows « snap-through/snap-back » charging and moving return points. In this case, control in displacement diverges and control in arc length must be chosen.

It makes it possible to validate finite element modeling COQUE_3D with cells TRIA7 and QUAD9 and DKT with cells TRIA3 in the semi-static non-linear geometric domain in the presence of strong instabilities.

The movements and the critical load are compared to a numerical reference solution.
