3. Modeling A#
3.1. Characteristics of modeling#
The concrete is modelled using elements DKT (multi-layer shell with plane stresses). Reinforcement is simplified by neglecting the seam reinforcements between the various layers. As for the reinforcement layers of the walls, they are modelled by plane elements of type GRILLE_MEMBRANE (positioned at the exact side inside the concrete to take into account the concrete in the coating). The connection between the meshes of the central wall and the return walls is made by sharing the nodes at the level of the median sheets.
3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
The mesh used for the calculation is shown on the [].

Figure 3.2-a : T5 model mesh
The number of linear quadrangular cells (QUAD4) is 625. These meshes are divided into elements:
DKT up to 125,
GRILLE_MEMBRANE up to 500.
