Summary
A quasistatic calculation of an elastic plate embedded on one side and subjected to a subsequent pressure is presented. Follower loading involves changes to the linearized system of equations. The system of equations solved by the method of NEWTON is not symmetric. The tangent stiffness matrix (internal forces) and the contribution of pressure forces following the deformation of the structure are not symmetric. This modeling makes it possible to test geometric nonlinear finite element objects COQUE_3D using the algorithm for updating large 3D rotations GROT_GDEP in STAT_NON_LINE in the presence of a follower type of pressure. The reference solution is obtained by the software Finite Elements SAMCEF.
