5. Summary of results

The calculated values actually correspond to those theoretically expected. A state of flexion-compression is indeed obtained for the concrete beam.

The greater differences observed in certain nodes closer to the free end can be explained by the more or less good suitability of a 3D model for a beam-type structure. Thus, the mesh remains fairly coarse so as not to increase the cost of the calculation. Finally, it is recalled that the reference solution is established under the assumptions of beam theory.
