5.1. Characteristics of modeling#
These are the same modeling characteristics as modeling A.
5.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
The mesh is adjusted (see []) and includes 3 blocks composed of TRI3 meshes. It has about 4608 elements in total, \(32\times 72\) along the horizontal and vertical axes, respectively.
The mesh is finer than in the previous tests because we want to avoid a loss of precision.

5.3. Tested sizes and results#
The contact pressure values are tested as for modeling A. The location of the nodes that store the contact degrees of freedom, whose values are tested, is illustrated on the [].
