5. C modeling#

5.1. Characteristics of modeling#

We use a D_ PLAN modeling.

The contact between the half-ring and the block is frictionless. We use the MORTAR pairing with DECOUPAGE_LAC, ALGO_CONT = LAC and we validate the keyword TYPE_JACOBIEN = “ACTUALISE”.

5.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

The mesh contains 240 elements of type QUAD4.

5.3. Tested sizes and results#

The movement is tested on two points in the contact zone. Point \(A\), located in the middle in \(X=125\mathit{mm}\) and point \(B\), located in \(X=23/30\ast 250\mathit{mm}\), the aim being to always have one of the two points in contact during the calculation, despite the deformation of the half-ring.
