v6.03.156 SSNP156 — Contact validation benchmark NAFEMS 4: loaded pin

Summary:

This problem is the fourth test case of a benchmark NAFEMS for validating touch-friction. The benchmark references are obtained with the Abaqus and MARC codes.

This test models a contact with friction between a pin and a mesh bore with different finnesses and therefore not compatible. However, the calculation with Code_Aster requires the use of compatible meshes.

This test includes 2 models to test:

• linear and quadratic elements,

• “CONTINUE” contact treatment formulations with friction

• contact pressures and tangential frictional forces
