v6.03.131 SSNP131 - Identification of the energy parameter Gp in 2D and 3D#
Summary
This nonlinear quasistatic mechanics test makes it possible to present the calculation of the parameter \({G}_{p}\) resulting from the energetic approach to elastoplastic rupture and the identification of critical values corresponding to given experimental toughness values. It requires representing the crack by a notch and finely meshing the vicinity of the bottom of the notch. It also requires calculating the elastic energy over the virtual propagation zone of the notch, cut into « chips ».
Modeling A is carried out with quadratic \(\mathrm{2D}\) elements, in plane deformation. The mesh represents the zones called chips; the calculation of the parameter is performed using the properties of the mesh (POST_GP and CALC_GP) or by automatically creating these zones (CALC_GP).
Modeling B is the same as modeling A, but uses any mesh; only automatic chip definition is used (CALC_GP).
