7. D modeling#
7.1. Characteristics of modeling#
Identical to C modeling, this modeling uses a follower loading, SUIV_PILO instead of FIXE_PILO (load type: PRES_REP instead of FORCE_CONTOUR).
If FIXE_PILO, the load is always fixed (independent of geometry).
If SUIV_PILO, The load is said to be « follower », that is to say, it depends on the value of the unknowns: for example, pressure, being a loading that applies in the normal direction to a structure, depends on the updated geometry of the structure, and therefore on the displacements.
7.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
We use the same mesh as the C modeling, which includes 315 TRIA6 and 686 nodes.
7.3. Tested sizes and results#
The value of the limit load for the elastoplastic calculation without control is tested, in relation to the analytical solution of the minimum limit:
Component |

SIGM_NOEU — \(\mathit{SIYY}\) in \(G\) |

We test the value of the limit load for the elastoplastic calculation with control (imposed vertical displacement of \(\mathrm{6mm}\) at the point \(G\)), compared to the analytical solution of the minimum limit of the solution without control:
