6. D modeling#

6.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The models tested are DIS_T on SEG2 meshes. The characteristics of the discretes are of the type: K_T_D_L, M_T_D_L.

6.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

Number of knots: 3, number of stitches: 3, elements SEG2: 3.

6.3. Boundary conditions and loads#

Nodes N1, N3 are blocked: \(\mathit{DX}=\mathit{DY}=\mathit{DZ}=0\).

Displacement, speed, and acceleration are defined by the equations presented in § 1.5.3.

The seismic load is in the following direction: \((\mathrm{0.5,}\mathrm{0.5,}0.8)\).

6.4. Tested sizes and results#

The quantity tested is effort. Tolerances are by default.

The tests consist in retrieving the movements of the N2 node, calculating the effort using the law of behavior and comparing this effort with that calculated by code_aster. The tests are carried out at all archived moments.
