3. Modeling A#
3.1. Characteristics of modeling#
The models tested are DIS_T on SEG2 meshes. The characteristics of the discretes are of the type: K_T_D_L, M_T_D_L.
3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
Number of knots: 2, number of stitches: 2, elements SEG2: 2.
3.3. Boundary conditions and loads#
Node N2 is stuck: \(\mathit{DX}=\mathit{DY}=\mathit{DZ}=0\).
Node N1 is free in the X direction and locked in Y and Z direction: \(\mathit{DY}=\mathit{DZ}=0\).
A displacement as a function of time is imposed on the node N 1 in the direction X. This load is a composition of 3 sines with 3 frequencies and 3 different amplitudes (see § 1.5.1 for the equations). The figure shows the displacement as a function of time.

3.4. Tested sizes and results#
The quantity tested is effort. Tolerances are by default.
The tests consist in recovering the movements of the node N1, calculating the effort using the law of behavior and comparing this effort with that calculated by code_aster. The tests are carried out at all archived moments.
