3. Modeling A#

3.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The system is modelled with a material point and a PLAN_Y obstacle.

The quantities obtained following buckling due to shock are evaluated using the keyword FLAMBAGE of the operator DYNA_VIBRA.

We also check the various resolution methods (EULER, ADAPT_ORDRE2 and DEVOGE). With the adaptive time diagram ADAPT_ORDRE2 we define (in seconds):

  • the initial time step: PAS = 0.0002,

  • the maximum value of the time step: PAS_MAXI = 0.001,

  • the minimum value of the time step: PAS_MINI = 2.E-8.

3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

Number of knots: 2

Number of mesh: 1 SEG2

3.3. Tested sizes and results#

The values of the quantities associated with the buckling of the wall are tested.
