3. C modeling

3.1. Purpose of modeling

The purpose of this modeling is to validate the use of the formula from DEFI_PRES_EC8 with FORCE_COQUE_FO from AFFE_CHAR_MECA.

3.2. Parameters

The parameters of modeling A. are retained.

3.3. Details

The mesh is a cylinder with a bottom (and ceiling) modelled in DKT elements. The bottom of the tank is recessed. We apply the pressure from DEFI_FONC_EC8. The calculation is elastic.

3.4. Tested sizes and results

After ensuring that the deformation generally had the expected shape, non-regression tests were added at two points in the middle of the water level, the first with azimuth 0 and the second with azimuth 180°. The values don’t matter here because they’re non-regression tests.
