1. Modeling A#

1.1. Purpose of modeling#

This modeling validates the calculation of the various components of the total pressure of the macro-command DEFI_PRES_EC8 for points of different altitudes and azimuth 0 by comparison with results shared by Framatomine. It also validates: - the calculation of the total pressure (in the two available Newmark combinations « PC+ » and PC-) from the values of the various components - the calculation of the various pressure components for azimuths different from 0 and the associated total pressure - the calculation of the various components on the bottom of the tank (except the rigid impulsive pressure, validated in the B model) - taking into account different thicknesses depending on the points evaluated

In the following, we only detail the comparison test with the Framatomé references, the other validations being computer validations whose description is not of interest.

1.2. Settings#

The reservoir is defined by:

  • Z_ FOND = 0

  • RAYON = 4.820

  • HAUT_EAU = 9,250

  • RHO_EAU = 1000

Gravity \(g\) is 9.81. The density of the walls of the tank is 7800 and their thickness is 0.006.

The accelerations are as follows:

  • ACCE_SP_H = 0.241 \(g\)

  • ACCE_FLEX_H_N = 0.51252007 \(g\)

  • ACCE_FLEX_V = 0.33572503 \(g\)

  • ACCE_SP_V = 0.16067 \(g\)

  • ACCE_CONV_H = 0.085 \(g\)

1.3. Tested sizes and results#

The various components of the total pressure are tested for altitudes 0, 5.241667 and 9.25.
