Summary:

This structural mechanics test allows the evaluation of the movements and stresses of a parallelepiped deforming under its own weight. The material is orthotropic linear elastic. The modeling is three-dimensional. The model is similar to test VPCS SSLV07 (but in this case the material is isotropic) and to test SSLV121 (in this case the material is isotropic transverse).

The differences in the results obtained by*Aster* are between 0.00 and 0.5% of the analytically calculated reference.
