v3.02.313 SSLP313 - Inclined crack in an unlimited plate, subject to infinitely uniform traction#

Summary:

This test is the result of the independent validation of version 3 of Code_Aster in fracture mechanics.

We calculate \({K}_{I}\), \({K}_{\mathrm{II}}\) and the energy release rate for a right crack, inclined at an angle \(b\), in a large plate subjected to uniform traction. The model is two-dimensional in plane constraints. The material is isotropic linear elastic. This reference test in \(\mathrm{2D}\) allows you to check the separability of \({K}_{I}\) and \({K}_{\mathrm{II}}\) in a mixed mode.

The reference solution, given for a theoretically unlimited domain, is analytical.

In addition to the energy method (CALC_G), we test the method for calculating stress intensity factors by extrapolation of displacements (POST_K1_K2_K3). Modeling \(B\) makes it possible to test this last method with a recommended type of mesh (quarter middle nodes) to obtain a precise solution.
