5. Summary of results#

With this choice of the limits of the calculation domain, we obtain differences of the order of \(1\text{\%}\) on the coefficients \({K}_{I}\) and \({K}_{\mathrm{II}}\), and on the energy recovery rate \(G\).

As far as method POST_K1_K2_K3 is concerned, the results are further from the reference with a standard mesh (from \(–1\text{\%}\) to \(–30\text{\%}\) of difference), on the other hand, with a Barsoum type mesh (middle knots a quarter of the sides), recommended for this type of method, the differences are between \(–3\text{\%}\) and \(+1.2\text{\%}\), which is relatively accurate.
