v2.05.003 SDLX03 - Assembly of thin rectangular plates with interlocking#
Summary:
This three-dimensional problem consists in looking for the vibration frequencies of a mechanical structure composed of an assembly of plates where a stiffness effect has been simulated. This Structural Mechanics test corresponds to a dynamic analysis of an assembled structure with linear behavior. It includes two models.
Through this problem, we test the plate element DKT as well as the calculation of vibration frequencies by the Lanczos method with the detection of rigid body modes.
In the second modeling, the connection between shells is also tested (keyword LIAISON_COQUE of the AFFE_CHAR_MECA command).
The results obtained are in good agreement with the results given in guide VPCS (average of results obtained by different calculation codes). All six rigid body modes have been successfully detected.
A comparison with experimental results is also satisfactory.
