7. Synthesis

Looking at the curves, we can see that the results of the two calculation codes (code_aster and europlexus) are very similar. In modeling A, we can see a slight phase shift on the displacement curves. In modeling B, there is no phase difference but the error in \(\mathit{DZ}\) at the second peak approaches 1%. The models with homogenized plates are also in agreement.

It can be concluded that the eccentricity treatment in Code_Aster corresponds to what is done in Europlexus.
