1. Description#
1.1. Geometry#
The study model is a square plate with side \(c\mathrm{=}\mathrm{1m}\) and thickness \(\mathit{ep}\mathrm{=}\mathrm{0.05m}\). This plate is off center from \(d\mathrm{=}\mathrm{0.05m}\).

1.2. Material properties#
The properties of steel for the plate are given in the following table.
Material |
Steel |
Young Module |
\(2\mathrm{\times }{10}^{11}\mathit{Pa}\) |
Fish Coefficient |
\(0.2\) |
Density |
\(7800\mathit{kg}\mathrm{/}{m}^{3}\) |
1.3. Boundary conditions and loads#
1.3.1. Boundary conditions#
The side defined by the segment P1P4 of the plate is locked at 0 for the components \(\mathit{DX}\), \(\mathit{DZ}\) and \(\mathit{DRY}\), in addition the component \(\mathit{DY}\) is blocked in \(\mathit{P1}\).
1.3.2. Loading:#
Loading consists in applying a linear force along \(Z\) to the \(\mathit{P2P3}\) segment, going from \(0\) to \(50000N\mathrm{/}m\) in \(0.01\) seconds and then maintained constant thereafter.
