v2.02.106 SDLL106 - Beam subject to distributed random excitation#
Summary:
A two-embedded beam is subjected to a distributed force over its entire length. The force distribution profile is the same at all frequencies.
The random movement of this beam is evaluated by a stochastic approach: the power spectral density of the displacement is determined at various points on the beam.
We are testing both possibilities:
spatial function of the forces applied with interspectrum unity (method 1),
interspectrum constructed directly for excited ddls (method 2).
This test is an illustration of the response of a structure subjected to Aeolian excitation.
