Summary:
This three-dimensional problem consists first of all in carrying out a modal analysis and then in studying the harmonic response of a mechanical structure of a plane grating of beams. This Structural Mechanics test corresponds to a dynamic analysis of a linear model with linear behavior. It includes a single model.
This problem therefore makes it possible to test the Euler Bernouilli beam element in transverse bending, the calculation of frequencies and vibration modes by the Lanczos method and the use of linear relationships between displacements of two points in modal analysis and in harmonic response.
The results are in agreement with the analytical results of guide VPCS.
