v2.01.301 SDLD301 - Spectral seismic response of a 2 mass and 3 multi-supported spring system (correlated or decorrelated excitations)#

Summary:

The problem consists in calculating the spectral response of a 2 mass—3 spring system subjected to multiple seismic excitation. The excitations are considered either decorrelated and independent, or correlated with each other.

We test the discrete element in traction, the calculation of the natural modes, the static modes and the spectral response by modal superposition via the operator COMB_SISM_MODAL. Different accumulations are tested when calculating the support responses. It is verified that, in the case of excitations equal to the supports, the single-support calculation and the correlated multi-support calculation provide the same result.

The correct functioning of the damping input in the form of a damping matrix is also checked (modeling C).

The results obtained are in very good agreement with the reference analytical results.
