5. Modeling A#
5.1. Characteristics of modeling#
3D thermal calculation uses lumped modeling (3D_ DIAG). However, as the temperature is imposed on both sides of the element, it is determined everywhere. The thermal solver is only used here to generate field EVOL_THER to be projected. The mechanical calculation uses DKT multi-layered elements for concrete and GRILLE_EXCENTRE for steel. The number of layers in DKT is 10. The temperature resulting from the 3D thermal calculation is projected onto the layers of elements DKT and onto the elements GRILLE using the SOUS_POINT method of the PROJ_CHAMP command.
5.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
For thermal calculation, the 3D mesh is composed of a single HEXA8 mesh.
For the mechanical calculation, the meshing of the mean plane is carried out with 30 elements QUAD4. The elements for the grids are generated in the command file with CREA_MAILLAGE.

The stress in an element DKT (M27) is tested on the lower face (sub-point 1, bottom of layer 1) and on the upper face (sub-point 30, top of layer 10). The stress in an element GRILLE (AM27) is tested in the single layer (sub-point 1).
