5. C modeling: geometric method

5.1. Characteristics of modeling

An auxiliary grid is used. We are going to test option ZONE_MAJ on the auxiliary grid. The radius of the cylinder (\(4\mathrm{mm}\)) defined on the auxiliary grid coincides with that of the torus imposed by RAYON_TORE in PROPA_FISS.

5.2. Characteristics of the mesh

The same mesh as that used for modeling A. This mesh is also used to define the auxiliary grid.

5.3. Tested sizes and results

We test that the maximum and minimum values of the difference field are equal to zero.

Option ZONE_MAJ therefore correctly calculates the group of nodes on the auxiliary grid where the crack level sets have been updated.
