The object of this macro-command is to calculate, by post-processing a nonlinear elasto-plastic mechanics calculation, the mechanical parameter of the energy break called \({G}_{P}\). The energy approach based on this criterion is detailed in document [R7.02.16].

This macro command can be used in 2D and 3D.

In 2D, it allows the approach to be used with a specific mesh dedicated to the approach (presence of groups of elements forming particular areas called chips) or a sufficiently fine free mesh in which the zones are built by the macro-command. It is important to note that at

In 3D, only a specific mesh dedicated to the approach comprising groups of elements forming slices of several chips can be used.

The macro-command returns a table containing, for each requested calculation moment:

  • the name of the calculation area (chip) ZONE

  • the elastic energy modified or not in the zone (ENER_ELTR) for mesh chips

or ENER_ELAS for a free mesh),

  • the length of the zone (or 3D surface) DELTA_L

  • the GP parameter

  • an indicator specifying the location of the maximum by moment MAX_INST

The user can also request a restricted table in which only the rows corresponding to the maximum per moment are given. In the event that the user has used the automatic construction of chip zones, he can ask to obtain a field at the output allowing to visualize the zones and verify their correct definition.
