u2.08.07 Parametric calculations - Distribution of calculations

Summary:

Some studies lead to a greater or lesser number of analyses (sometimes several thousand), corresponding to the variations of the parameters. The use of standard calculations, consisting in modifying or creating the command file for each of the parameter sets, is tedious, difficult to manage and a source of error. The method presented in this document makes it possible to facilitate the implementation of such parametric studies by performing a minimum of interventions.

Based on the standard study and a file containing the set of parameters, the calculations are declined and executed automatically.

Since parametric calculations are independent of each other, it is possible to use the available machine resources by submitting the calculations in parallel.
