u2.07.07 Implementation of calculation by dynamic substructuring in the presence of IFS

Summary:

The purpose of this document is to help and give advice to users for carrying out a study involving the dynamic substructuring technique in the presence of fluid-structure interaction (IFS). The latter must be modelled in a displacement-pressure formulation (called U_P in code_aster) and in 3D. See documents U3.14.02 and R4.02.02 for details.

First, the general approach for implementing the technique is presented.

The sequences of operations required in order to obtain usable results are then described. The presentation shows an example dealing with a modal calculation.

Reading document U2.07.05 « Implementation of calculation by dynamic substructuring » is a prerequisite for reading this document, which includes many elements.
