4. Additional calculations and post-treatments#

4.1. Element-based calculations: operators CALC_CHAMP#

The post-processing options available through CALC_CHAMP are:

  • SIEF_ELGA

  • SIEF_ELNO

  • EFGE_ELGA

  • EFGE_ELNO

All these fields give the calculation of the generalized forces per element at the gauss points or at the nodes based on the movements in the local coordinate system of the element. For discretes of type POI1, the Gauss point is at the same position as the node. For a discrete type SEG2, the Gauss point is in the middle of the segment (Test case ZZZZ266A). There are no post-treatment options for deformations, as the laws of behavior are expressed in forces-displacements and not in stress-deformations.

4.2. Quantity calculations on all or part of the structure: operator POST_ELEM#

The operator POST_ELEM (documentation [U4.81.22]) allows quantities to be calculated on all or part of the structure. The quantities calculated correspond to particular calculation options of the affected modeling.

The options available for discrete elements are:

  • MASS_INER: calculation of geometric characteristics (volume, center of gravity, inertia matrix).

  • ENER_POT: calculation of the potential deformation energy at equilibrium from the displacements in linear mechanics of continuous media (2D and 3D) and in linear mechanics for structural elements.

  • ENER_CIN: calculation of kinetic energy from a speed field or from a displacement field and a frequency (only for structural elements and 3D elements).

Options ENER_ELAS and ENER_TOTALE are not yet available for discrete elements.

4.3. Detachment calculations: operator POST_DECOLLEMENT#

This post-treatment operator calculates the contact or detached surface between the raft and the ground during a soil/structure interaction calculation (ISS), conducted with the operator DYNA_NON_LINE. This post-treatment can be useful for example for soil modeling with elements whose characteristics are specified using RIGI_PARASOL and affected by the DIS_CHOC behavior law.

Test case:
  • ZZZZ200D [V1.01.200].
