r7.05.02 Static stability analysis of embankment slopes#
Summary:
The CALC_STAB_PENTE command allows you to analyze the static stability of embankment slopes modelled in 2D in hydraulic structures such as dams, embankments and dikes around reservoirs, taking into account pore pressure in porous media and possibly other types of mechanical loading.
In general, to analyze the static stability of slopes according to various Occupational regulations around the world, we use the gradual reduction method material properties (method SRM —*strength reduction method*), or the method based on limit equilibrium theory (**method LEM). Both are available in CALC_STAB_PENTE, so the order fits to all analysis circumstances under static conditions.
In this document we present in detail the algorithms implemented in CALC_STAB_PENTE [U4.84.47].
