3.1. Characteristics of modeling A#

Only half of the tank is meshed. This model cannot be used to calculate the torsional modes around the \(Z\) axis.
The reservoir is regularly meshed by quadrangular plate elements (modeling DKT). The fluid is meshed by volume fluid elements (3D modeling_ FLUIDE), the upper part is covered by a layer of free surface elements (2D_ FLUI_PESA modeling). The fluid-structure interface is lined with quadrangular coupling elements (modeling FLUI_STRU).
