4. B modeling#
4.1. Characteristics of modeling#
Modeling A is repeated by modifying only the declaration of the pipe section. Under the keyword AFFE_CARA_ELEM, we declare a case of variable cross section with VARI_SECT =” HOMOTHETIQUE “, but with radius and diameter parameters remaining constant. We thus seek to validate the variable section option, in the sense of the keyword, but by finding the same solution as for modeling A.
4.2. Tested values#
The test focuses on the frequency of the first coupled axial mode of the pipes containing a fluid, which must be identical to that of modeling A.
The tolerance for relative deviation from the analytical value is 0.1%.

4.3. note#
The reference values are both the analytical values and also those obtained by Code_Aster during the retrieval of the test case, which will therefore make it possible to verify the subsequent non-regression of the code during its evolution.
