Summary:

This test in the field of fluids (fluid/structure coupling) validates the calculation of the added mass matrix in the case where there are several structures immersed in the same fluid.

By means of a modal analysis, the coupled modes of the two structures are thus determined because of the mass of fluid that separates them. Plane modeling is adopted (thermal for the fluid, and plane deformation for the cylinders).

We find the coupled modes of the system with less than \(0.1\text{\%}\) of the analytical result.
