v7.31.145 WTNV145 - Application of distributed pressure on the lips of a XFEM crack junction for the hydromechanical case#
Summary:
This is a first validation test to ensure the correct functioning of the extended finite element method in the HM coupling model in a fractured saturated medium. In this test we seek to verify, in the case where the pore pressure is assumed to be uniformly zero throughout the field of study (i.e in order to place ourselves in a « classical » mechanical case without coupling), that there is indeed a discontinuity in the field of movements on either side of the interface. The results are compared to an analytical solution and to the results obtained with a mechanical XFEM test (similar to the ssnv203 tests, F and H models).
