4. B modeling#
4.1. Characteristics of B modeling#
The characteristics are identical to the reference solution. The modeling used is of the D_ PLAN_HM type. The mesh is shown on the. In this modeling, \(\mathit{LX}=\mathrm{5m}\) and \({L}_{d}=\mathrm{2,6}m\), the discontinuity is thus not in accordance with the mesh, it crosses QUAD8.

4.2. Tested sizes and results#
In the left column, the pore pressure PRE1et and the stress SIYY at the final instant \(t=\mathrm{250s}\) are tested at various heights in the column. The results obtained are similar to those obtained for classical D_ PLAN_HM modeling but slightly less accurate than those obtained with conventional D_ PLAN_HMD modeling at the top of the column.

The results obtained for the pore pressure at the final instant \(t=\mathrm{250s}\) are shown on the. A clear discontinuity in the pore pressure is clearly observed on both sides of the crack. The QUAD8centraux are subdivided into under TRIA6 HM_XFEM.
