3. B modeling#

It should be noted that modeling B is characterized by:

  • A hydrostatic compression path in drained condition up to critical pressure, equal to half of the consolidation pressure.

  • An undrained path by maintaining lateral stresses on the sample and by imposing a vertical compression displacement that induces a state of triaxial stresses up to the critical point.
