v7.20.100 HSNA100 - Drying a concrete enclosure wall#
Summary:
This test case is intended to validate the calculation of concrete drying, developed in the Code_Aster nonlinear thermal operator. The case studied corresponds to the simulated drying of the Flamanville enclosure. The geometric data and material characteristics come from Laurent Granger’s thesis « Delayed behavior of concrete in nuclear power plant enclosures » published by the Central Laboratoire des Ponts et Chaussées (1996, pages 185 to 204).
Drying is carried out by exchange with the outside, on the inner and outer walls of the wall, using axisymmetric modeling \(\mathrm{2D}\). It is carried out over a period of 54 years.
Since the drying diffusion coefficient depends on temperature, the analysis is composed of the combination of a thermal calculation and a drying calculation. A mechanical calculation of the shrinkage in linear elasticity and in Von Misès plasticity is then carried out with isotropic work hardening.
